Only 14% of Americans believe now is a good time to buy a home, down from 22% in March and 29% a year ago, according to Fannie Mae. However, 43% believe that now is a good time sell a home, unchanged from the month before and down 2% from last year. Americans are hopeful about home prices and mortgage rates, with a 2% decrease in those who think prices will rise and a 5% increase in those who say rates will fall in the next 12 months.
